Ukrainian AI: how to teach AI not to confuse halushky with varenyky! – CyberDreamPC

Ukraine has started developing its own large language model (LLM), an analogue of ChatGPT. On 25.06.2025, at the Tech360 conference in Kyiv, the creation of a Ukrainian LLM was announced. This is a huge step towards digital independence and strengthening our country's national security.

Imagine AI as a smart student who will learn to speak Ukrainian. Our model will be developed based on open technologies. It will be trained on a unique array of Ukrainian data to understand our nuances, culture, and context. For example, teaching AI that Shevchenko is not only a world-famous football player! The first version of the Ukrainian AI model is expected by the end of 2025.
